I also remember Google Wave. Those were good times. Better times.
When it actually worked, at least.

The single most useful thing they made other than a search engine, and they brought about its death with all the dignity of a truck nut whose obsession with their pristine, kid-glove-tended pick up truck has just been gravely insulted with the words “I bet you don’t even use that for any real work”.

And that is why Google will never again receive my praise for anything else they do. Because they can’t comprehend the utility of anything that doesn’t make them money, and can’t contemplate being a magnanimous service to society even occasionally.

Sorry, small tangent. Gets my hackles up.

Twitter has entered my life though, and except for hunting for cool art, it mostly stresses me out. It just feels so hard to actually have a dialogue, and very easy to say something short, snippy, and easily taken out of context.
