I’m trying to be constructive.

Lackadaisy IS gorgeous, and while it’s not stylistically where GA is going, the concepts in that article regarding facial expressions have merit for any style.

And really folks, when you look at John’s body of work, you’ll notice a lot of Robotech. The parallels to manga in this incarnation of GA are obvious.
