Just like they kept getting caught in “energy fields” of the type they’d “never encountered before”, Worf always ran into the bad guy du jour that would wipe the floor with him just to show how scary he was. Then Picard would defeat him by reciting Shakespeare or something.

BTW Scipio got pretty roughed up in that last fight, too. Then tiny Bandit steps into the ring and takes on HAMMERHEAD without a scratch.
