The two aren’t mutually exclusive.
The former is meaningless drivel, and the latter is particularly prone to meaningless drivel… so the two go rather well together.

Actually, to demonstrate my point more clearly... Welcome to Science time, with Ahdok! ----- Now children. To understand what I meant by "perspective" here, you need to make your very own Priestlord Gigundus. Now, our lovely priestlord has a funny shaped head, but you can simplify it to a cylinder if you like. It can be difficult to find something appropriate, but I just painted a line on a toilet roll. Mighty Priestlord Gigundus stares at you, impassive and expressionless. As you can see, Priestlord Gigundus is looking pretty dispassionate, sitting there on my desk... but what if you look at him from above? Aww look! he's smiling! All it takes is a quick shift of your perspective, and even a mighty priestlord can cheer up! Now... what happens if we look at him from a lower point of view. Gigundus is displeased with you. As we can see... the priestlord is pretty angry with us. Time to run away children! See you next week on science time!
