I’m curious about the Winter Elves being guardians of forgotten lore – if someone suddenly remembers some old lore, what happens? Do the Winter Elves go on a book burning spree to remove it from their libraries?

For those who (like me) are reading this for the first time, I am having trouble with the whole “broken-fourth-wall/gaming universe/PhilipKDick alt.universe” thing going on. I am very (very) tempted to go see if there’s a new post yet on “PowerNap.”
BUT, I am nothing if not stubborn. I *will* see this through.

And, also, one has to trust the storyteller(s). Even when things get uncomfortable. *Especially* when things get uncomfortable. After all, it’s not like they’re suddenly writing crap.

Btw, “PowerNap” is rillyrilly good. Check it out if you haven’t yet.

(Speaking of uncomfortable reading [you’ll see what I mean], if you live under an even bigger rock than I do, and haven’t yet read “The Hunger Games” series, stop wasting time and do so. Hella good. Yes, it’s for kids. Problem?)

This page, sadly, reminds me of how much I miss the old art’s style. Maybe because it was what I was used to… But at least a part of it is the sheer amount of Smug that was squeezed into that one expression on Payet’s face. It reaches a level that requires capitalization.

Huh. I would’ve thought Winter Elves would evolve smaller ears, so they’d be easier to keep warm. Those things look like they’d be hard to stuff under a hat.
