But while Scipio Africanus was a historical figure, Rufus Scipio is the pseudonym of a fictional character. There’s a slight difference there.

Although I wonder; if Tavi is supposed to be Scipio, does that make Nasaug (or Varg, maybe) Hannibal? Canim as Carthaginians? Could be.
