Yeah, I got nothing. What’s Bandit muttering in panel one?

“Miff mivmt muh maff moo meem’a me!“, obviously.

…Oh, you mean not being a jerk about it. Unless that’s Economist Futhark for “Your mother is a hamster and your father puts out elderberries!”, it’s probably “This isn’t the last you’ve seen of me!“.

Perhaps it’s the Halfling Gypsy curse. Call Sam Raimi and ask about gettin’ a Lamia over here for a few.

Goathole: damn fine name for a grindcore band.

Bandit seems to have a habit of trying to talk when she really shouldn’t. I’m guessing there’s going to be at least one scene of her stuffing her face at a banquet and saying, “Amm mem me med, maff moh moffimoo, iff mah mife!”

I’m fairly certain that that -is- a woman under the armor. As in, I think that’s Frigg. (Remember her “I’m gettin’ plate” comment)

On panel four they are actually aresting Bandit? I thought the guard wouldn’t even bother with those non-humans busyness… xP

Anyway, cheers for Gravedust’s True Strike! A Mystic/shaman/necrothingy with a bow and a lot of wisdom to give is so awesome!
Heh… Funny how the back-line, the ‘suport units’ of the party, had already stablished some links even if the rest is still just messing around… I just wanna see Frigg in all this. Hehehee

It’s one thing to run down a criminal to help someone you don’t want to help. It’s another thing to just let a criminal go once she’s been gift wrapped for you (and civilians are watching).

The “gift wrapped” part I agree with, but as for civilians watching, isn’t this set in vaguely pre-democratic times when the constabulary wouldn’t have given a s**t what civilians thought? :-)

Pre-democracy makes public opinion even more important. In a democracy, you just wait a few years, but enough people hate you in a monarchy… you’ll probably end up dead. Also, they are in a pretty big market place, and the last thing you need there is a known thief getting any craftsman’s guilds and foreign representatives all riled up. AND- a marketplace of this caliber will probably mostly populated with the bourgeoisie, who are the most likely candidates to sew the seeds of revolution.

Not that one isolated incident will do that much, but the best policy is to look your best- especially since the capitol would represent all human cities.

They better care, because in a place where The Rule of Law is probably just the name of a cheap dive bar, those civilians are a lot more likely to notice that they outnumber the City Watch by a factor of Hrair to 1.

That’s some wrestling match if a mace and shield are legal. I wonder if being shot through the heart with a mystic arrow count as being pinned.

I got it as something along the lines of “Geez you didn’t have to be so mean to me”. I get no gold stars.

Judging by the mace and design of the armour thats Frigg asking for a fight.

Looks like Byrons gonna get busy.

    Love the comic BTW.
