Perhaps it is a complex reference to the Beaufort Scale!

Koooffa Kaffa? Does it mean “no worries” for the end of your days? (In this case, thirty-six seconds?)

I do believe Lord Richard will soon be by to remind you all of who the master of the Fwoosh is. I’m sure he’ll even use object lessons.

I appreciate that Byron goes from WTF’ed on the floor to on his feet with murder machine fully deployed in less time than it takes a sneaky little bastard to turn around and take two steps.

Actually, he did. That’s why he turned the gas on in the first place. Clever little shit.

The problem arises that the explosion will not be directed. If you hit two people with the same concussive force, I would bet on the trained berserker taking less damage than the kid. If nothing else, he’ll have a lot more hit points.

Which means he either hasn’t thought that far ahead, or has thought that far ahead and is an annoying little genius.

…or that he really doesn’t care. “Not my body…”

No matter what, he’s clearly not what he appears to be!

while setting a fire with explosive gasses and your enemies own axe to use as a diversion is rather clever doing so on your own wooden flying ship several hundred feet in the air seems obscenely stupid
