I hope the Winter Elves are more welcoming than the Forest, Sky and Shit Elves have so far proven themselves to be.

(Also, I love Syr’nj’s expression in the last panel. I can hear her saying her lines in a perfectly deadpan tone.)

Ahh, yes, the old Conjure World Peace debate.

I believe that’s a level 20 summoning spell, with a casting time of 12 years and a duration of 1 minute per caster level.

Ah yes, the old “well technically it’s peaceful if everyone’s dead” genie loophole.

A wizard could keep world peace indefinitely (including leap years!) and he would only have to be level 6,311,520. Totally doable.

You don’t play enough D&D 3.x. In serious optimization, numbers like that are not trivial to hit, but also not impossible.

I love the comic, though the jumping around is kind of disconcerting. They discover the pirate ship in the hideout…and we cut to elves arguing about isolationism? WTB the pirate sequence =/

Otherwise, great comic. And I love Syr’nj’s expression in the last panel, it’s great.

Poor Frigg.. her attention span is too short when fighting is not involved to be any good at taking this, and Bandit cannot be sneaky. Whatever shall they do? And Poor Syr has to deal with them. I’d say smack them upside the head, but I think Frigg’s head might be make out of steal or something.

I think the steal is in Bandit’s head.

Being as i cheerfully nit-pick incredibly things on the IMDB “Goofa” section, i’m going to ask:

Why is Syrinj’s collar open in the next-to-last panel and closed in the last?

At least we know you also nit-pick your own comments as well! :-P

      Haz question for authors/artists:
Is a webcomic (this one anyway) a collaboration in the way that a d.j. collaborates with a room of dancers? I don’t think that it is possible that the commentors do not influence the comic, but do you have a full script already so that that influence is tempered? Do you some days just wanna turn off the comment section? Just curious. :-)

Anyway, I am still loving this comic. It is climbing my list of favorites.

T and I write the script for the next chapter while the current one is being drawn/updated. The level of influence I’d say you readers have on the scripting overall amounts to keeping us on our toes for continuity errors and the tiniest details.

Since you guys are so good at spotting them, we have to try a lot harder.

Fairport, clearly Syr’s clothes are actually her foliage, and respond to environemental pressure like some plants, by expanding or closing. In the increasingly tense negotiating room, her leaves are curling inward.

Or, y’know, it could just be that it’s cloth and moves in accordance with her movements. In the penultimate panel her chin’s turned and forcing it wide; in the last one her head is facing straight forward, letting it close. But that’s a perfectly reasonable explanation, so I choose to believe the plant-thing, myself.

Guy on the right has a point. Practicality is overcoming their magic.

Then again, it’s also a good point that they can just conjure up whatever they need. You don’t get that powerful and then never use your power, makes no sense.

Hey, I can’t get further than this page!

I know there was one on March 10. Was there a 12 .o update?

Great comic. Mind is blown every page. Except those title pages, they’re just stunning.
