What happened to the pirates, I can usually keep up but this seems to be a big jump, is this a back story?

I’d also like to applaud Syr’Nj’s ability to wield a loaded Frigg.
Shows how they’ve grown as a team from the days when Frigg was stealing skin time with ol’ what’s-his-name.
Also, the more we learn about Bandit, the more I like her.
