I dunno. This first time we went through this part of the comic it looked like forgiveness. “It better not happen again!” is as mild a reaction as you could expect to being butchered.

But in the context of what happened later, I can’t help but wonder if both “power move” and “leverage” are exactly the right terms. Is she putting him on notice because she’s afraid he’ll take risks, or so he knows she’s in control?

I remember visiting my grandpa’s lab when I was a wee sprout.
So many scienty things going on!
A rather large beaker full of clear liquid was simmering above a bunsen burner, and I managed to get up my courage to ask what it was.

“Water for coffee”

But only if poured on test tubes! Which she did, because drinking it from a drinking bottle or cup would be very scienty, and this is the scientiest way to go.

Power move? He literally went crazy and almost murdered her. I think trying to grab some leverage against him is absolutely fine.

In fact, much later we learn that Bryon doesn’t understand why more people don’t act like Bandit in regard to him.
