Good thing Frigg is screaming too loud herself to hear Syr’Nj’s clipped order or E-Merl’s near-shout of relief.
Yeah, Sundar, Syr’Nj doesn’t have too many house rules, but “no fatalism” is a big one. ..which makes her choice in the last frame even more ironic.
The flashbang, the short sword and shield, the dynamite, the bag of holding…we’re just cycling through all Syr’Nj’s classic tricks today. That helps the “early chapter” vibe of this fight sequence, too. It’s a shame she’s the last OG standing at this point, so nobody else can help with that nostalgia. But maybe Hollister knows an “enchanted arrow” spell.
I always forget about the bag of holding (which I don’t remember ever being mentioned in the comic proper) and always find myself wondering whether/how she always carries around all this stuff that she happens to need on any particular day.

That should probably be “too many house rules”. And I noticed “to remover” on the previous page’s commentary.
