It also used the wrong symbol – that's the one for radiation hazard, which is the exact opposite message! Fallout shelters are marked with three triangles instead.

I sometimes wonder what all the later characters would’ve looked like if Erica had stayed. I also wonder what the main characters would’ve looked like if John had designed them from scratch. I probably would’ve liked them in either case. But I have to say, I much prefer John’s version of Taro (for a certain definition of “prefer”). He makes him look like the slimy little shit he really is. Of course, at this point in the story, having him look like that might’ve been a bit of a spoiler.

The All-Out Helter thing is not graceful, either! It only has sort-of a meaning if you squint at it from an oblique angle.
