A Game To Die For Anno
Here’s more improv from John, today and tomorrow, while we got our heads together after the emotionally draining Chapter 36. As the accompanying image shows, this was not the first time one of the Waltrips had faithfully rendered gaming dice onscreen, but this certainly takes the exercise further.
I assume this is an unchronicled adventure that took place after Frigg and the others parted ways with Penk and started walking out of camp. They must’ve had to get a safe distance away to make sure no Rebels followed them through the sky elf portals, and probably stumbled into this area. I wonder which of the five of them triggered this rockslide?
I mean, Sundar’s the obvious choice, but we can’t rule out Frigg.
Given her position, I’d say it was probably Frigg’s fault, possibly because she had to prove something to either WAV or Sundar.
And wonder why Fr’Nj is being carried by Sundar. Either she just tried to do something heroic and was prevented by him (which may or may not have been a smart move), or, maybe it was actually her who triggered the trap?
Gravedust’s technique is a little … I don’t know. If something big is rolling your way, don’t run straight downhill, run perpendicular to its path! Although I suppose that a D20’s path may not be so predictable (who knew?), so maybe he did the wise thing, because it’s about to stand on a tip, so it’ll probably veer either to the left or right in a second, and then Gravy can just pick the other direction and steer clear.
