Presumably this was set at a time before Frigg actually met any members of Syr’Nj’s family, but I’ll resist the temptation to read too deeply into the characters’ apparent stages of development. Not gonna try to fit “land pool sharks” into the species’ overall sociology, either. Some things are just for fun, you know?
The colors pop very nicely here, making me wish we’d set more canonical scenes in the Gastonian nightlife.
Looks like we misspelled Mike Donohue’s name the last time this strip ran; we probably got our wires crossed with that famous Donahue. His webcomic The Cow is no longer online, but you can still find his varied works, including a thriller series and a memoir of his journey toward sobriety, cited on Amazon and/or Goodreads.
