Annotated 10-18
Phil had been throwing this idea at the wall for a while and we’d vaguely hinted at it a time or two, but this is still as close to ex machina as we got with Guilded Age and one reason I feel like we weren’t really out of Act One yet, looking back.
The last thing we added to the script to this page was Frigg’s recap in panel 2, which may’ve been necessary to show her thoughts starting to coalesce. Plus it has the phrase “giant rock mans,” and that’s pretty great.
I guess this answered what type of damage faith does.
It’s blunt.
That is way more than two sizes. I imagine if we did a volumetric analysis, we’d find it grew at least 4 times in size, and 16 times in mass. The DM should consider the mass equations when figuring out the damage increase.
I don’t think Frigg goes to Mass.
Glowy Hammershit looks more like a force effect.
“Giant rock mans” is the best thing about this page, and that’s not faint praise; that very first KA-SMITE is epic! ^_^
I agree, if only for the accompanying face. That is such an appropriate face for sudden GIANT ROCK MANS
I’m not joking, at first I thought it was a Megaman reference.
I don’t think I could have appreciated it any more if it were, though. (It would just be neat.)
I love it :D
1. That mace was never tiny
2. Love the Grinch reference
Oh, I dunno. Techtonicus did some interesting machina-ing, and there’s always those Winter Elves…
I always just assumed she’d become a paladin of her own faith.
