Annotated 10-22
How can you tell Syr’Nj is taking her responsibility for the group more seriously than before? She’s so caught up in healing and the quest that she walks out of this awe-inspiring library without taking a single book.
Best’s destiny-inspired confidence continues: “He knew he would not die, because he had not yet been to Stavromula Beta.”
The alt text was originally Frigg’s line, but it’s a bit too self-consciously clever for her.
Gravedust is observing in the last panel. The reasons why will become clear in Chapter 11, Page 5.
With this page, our buffer finally reached the point that Phil was making tweaks in the dialogue after the inking. Thanks largely to John’s speed and professionalism, we never missed an update day, but we weren’t able to keep very far ahead of deadline after this, either.
I’ve always enjoyed how consistent your updates were. Even during the holiday season which tends be rough sometimes for many webcomics I read.
Why would Syr’Nj be interested in these books? I mean, presumably they are all written in the sky elf language, and if she could understand it, then they wouldn’t have had so much trouble with those golems.
Perhaps the language found on the golem’s were some kind of magic language or code. But the language in the books are standard elvish language (albeit with the lion’s share of books discussing the magic language).
Saying “The reasons why will become clear in Chapter 11, Page 5,” without links is mean.

“because he had not yet been to Stavromula Beta”
What Gravedust noticed is a weird statue of HR in the act of pushing the button which started the full-immersion experience for the Five. The artist had some troubles representing this concept. Especially the pot of begonia.
For some unknown reason, HR is pictured in a bathrobe, killing an employee with the crude stone axe HR is wielding in his other hand, and trampling numerous ants and other bugs with oversized slippers.
