Chapter 23 – Cover
New DLC and new Avatars will be coming Wednesday, along with Page 1. Our hands are pretty full right now with getting ready for big GA projects such as the Volume 2 Kickstarter which is totally happening soon you guys, sorting out our convention schedule and merch situation, and keeping up with the five times a week output. We’re still committed to this schedule, and are working out how to get ourselves as ahead on pages as possible. I know a lot of you have said that you’d rather we update three times a week than do it poorly, and we feel largely the same way. That’s why we’ll be updating three times this week and resuming 5 times next week, a strategy I’ve seen employed by other webcomics. And our motto here at Guilded Age is: If it’s good enough for Willis, it’s good enough for us.
It should be noted also that the Waltrips are not responsible for our tardiness. They are, and shall always be ballers.
Thanks for your patience with all of our growing pains as we get our shop back in order.
Take that, CALIFORNIANS.
Join the queue.
No I’m pretty sure Washington gets first dibs, they keep MOVING up here! Its terrible!
That’s what they get for trying to steal all that sweet, sweet milk business from Missouri. Let’s see how happy your cows are when you don’t have any, California!
If we don’t have sweet milk, we can still make sour cream!
I won’t scream for that.
*vacant stare*
Califorrrnia…
Looks like their state flag.
Knows how to Party!
;_; My republic has fallen.
California, the panic state.
I must find fault with that line, we’re not always quaking in our boots.
I sensed a tremor though.
Perhaps just all the bass comin’ outta Oakland.
So excited for the Volume 2 Kickstarter!!! I’m keeping some money set aside just for that, haha.
Thanks for the heads up re: this week’s schedule – I really hope you all get to a place where you’re comfortable with your pace, and not just because I enjoy this comic so much. Y’all do a lot of really great work!
The big stains underneath the carnivore seem to address the question: “Does a bear s*** in the woods?” Answer: I dunno, but apparently it does on the flag.
And that’s how the California state flag was made.
Finally! The chapter introducing Freakazoid!
Obligatory reply: If there’s Freakazaoid, does that mean there’ll be an appearance by Candle Jack? That would b–
*Grumbles. Gets the cage. And the pie. Sets clever trap.*
Hope you appreciate this Alice.
This is the flag of the Bear ! state.
Huh. I totally missed that it was a bear. I read it as a sloppy “F!” and thought, “FRIGG!”
No it is an F!
They had to use objects as letters. How they pinned a bear to a flag will be a mystery for eons.
So what mission is our team going to spearhead this time?
Nothing to shake a spear at, I’m dearly hoping (I couldn’t help it)
Fun times for all, Bear none.
They’ve whittled themselves down to bear necessities
Don’t tell me Baloo was the model used for the flag…
Nah, couldn’t be; the flag contains a bit more than the bare neccesities.
Gah! I missed Andreas’ post somehow. Heh, but at least I tried my hand at this horrible pun thing ^_^
Everyone’s looking a little grizzled these days.
Where’s my pic-ka-nic basket?
Looks like the ‘splotch’ on the bottom of the flag
A bear there was,
A bear, A BEAR!
All black and brown,
And covered with hair!
Who’s carrying the flag with the fuzzy bear on it? Must be Auraugu, Champion of the Fuzzy Peoples!
Champion and Flag Bear-er.
Hello. While doing an archive binge for a few days now, I noticed that the previous page from this one, has the link broken. Thank you for quite an involving comic as this one. Regards.
Thanks for the bug report, Fmas. Fixed on both counts.
