It’s not a Cyberian weapon, though. They built it to utilize the kind of magic that was already present in Arkerra.

I’ve a bad feeling it’ll work perfectly, if just to show this war isn’t a curbstomp battle in favor of our heroes. :-(

It might work to unite what remains in fighting the tank, though.
Well, maybe “curbstomp” is an exaggeration, but Iwatania isn’t merely on the defensive. The fighting has reached its capital, their only hope to win now is for the super weapon to single-handedly defeat the Adventurers and Savage Races, and the even the *rank-and-file* know it. We’ve even seen the two sides to that last one: extreme optimism or down-to-earth resignation.
I’m hoping the gnomes “accidentally” shoot to far, for the sake of their souls.
Damn that exhaust plume looks toxic enough to instantly kill Captain Planet. Or make Captain Pollution gain like a hundred pounds instantly. Whichever,

So, I looked it up, and well, a railgun that size WOULD produce an awful lot of recoil.
Making recoil stabilizing arms somewhat practical, after all. So good.
I’m still wondering how the cannon gets reloaded, with that setup.

I wonder if anyone aside from the folks in the air evil will even see that metal beast? It’s supposed to be able to assault from over a mile away. Which means it can sit neatly out of sight and rain destruction on it’s enemies.
But then again, Taro doesn’t strike me as the type that wants to go unnoticed.
