The corruptor beast is coming from a crater miles away from the blast. In panel 5 you can see in the corruptor beast’s pupil a reflection of the blast in the distance. Also, in panel 3 you see a silhouette of a rabbit in one corner and in panel 4 you see a rabbit running away from the other corner which tells the view turned around.
Looks like a good reason for a truce.

I believe they’re coming from afar, having seen the destruction of Taro’s cannon.
If you look closely you can see the mushroom cloud reflected in the eye, so it’s probably just that the blast got its attention.
