I think my favorite part of this strip is that it freely mixes the gods of different traditions, which feels like a better echo of our racially mixed team than it would if this were Zeus grumbling over “Broseidon,” Apollo, Artemis, and Hermes.
The strip reminds me of the days we were planning for Wordsworth and Mongo to be the “real creators” of “The Guilded Age strip.” How many layers can you add to this cake?
