I figure some of you more frequent commentators on this here site may be wondering, “How do I get snazzy avatars like Erica, Phil, and T have?”
Well on one angle, it’s who you know. We know Erica. So she drew them for us. You will, of course, need to supply your own avatar.
The other angle is putting them into action. Just go to gravatar.com and sign up with a WordPress account (go to WordPress.com if you don’t have one, they’re free). Once you have an avatar, and assign it to your wordpress-associated e-mail address, it’ll show up on our comics and blogposts when you comment, and any OTHER blog that likewise uses Gravatar.
It’s that simple! Go on and sign up for the things, upload your avatar, and comment her if you want to test it out.
