[Edit: thanks to Amaster below, who spotted what I missed! Best is] puncturing the balloon… because if you don’t eliminate this thing’s buoyancy, it’ll just rise right back up into the air again. Shame there are no crew members left alive to help with the landing.
Panel 2 is Best puncturing the balloon, which I didn’t realize until I read the commentary.
