This debate/battle feels like Flo hashing out some important things…I’ve seen her try to balance common sense with a larger-than-life persona and the insecurity that can bring. I sorta hear Best’s voice break on the word “ugly.”
Flo also put forth the idea that the surviving dire wolf could be tamed by Frigg, used as her mount, and renamed “Rachel” after this. We didn’t “cut this idea for time” so much as “completely forget about it,” IIRC.

4 slices of baked blond
4 pat of butter
1 tsp cinnamon and sugar
1/2 cup milk
Heat milk on low.
Butter blond as one normally would (if that was one’s kink) and sprinkle each piece with cinnamon, sugar and light backstory. Tear into bite-sized pieces, or wait for the Corruptor Beasts of Cyberia to do it for you. Place in two bowls.
Drain self-righteousness. Pour warm milk over pieces. Voila, milk toast!
I disagree with everything except the part about being ugly. That haircut was stupid. WAV looked better with the helmet on.
I think the haircut was completely in line with the rest of his appearance. Which in turn was completely in line with his style of music. Which is not my style, really, but I think if that haircut is good enough for Krillex, it’s good enough for Wav, too. It would have been very really weird if he had had a Brian Ferry haircut underneath the helmet…
Best returns from death, immediately acts like a douchenozzle, this checks out.
Just noticed the bandages on Best’s hands in this outfit. Probably a nod to Iggy Pop’s drumming but it does make me wonder if the one man band thing from the final battle was already planned at this point, given this version of Best’s role in that.
when can we have WAV back?
“You’re always the source of your own suffering” is of course true with regards to Best, but also a pretty interesting and insightful sentence coming from Byron…
