Actual Google Talk excerpt, April 12, 2010. It will surprise few of you to say that I almost never talk like this, but something about dialoguing Frigg brought it out:

Her hammer is a tad phallic looking so maybe that’s the dick that swings free.
Every other panel, Erica just draws a really cute Frigg, like in panel 3. Then she just has to say something like “My dick’s gotta swing free. Free in the breeze.” And I’m in love.
Because loincloths.
Ah the good old days of google talk. I wonder how you adapted when they decided to wreck it by switching to the bloated hangouts messenger that doesn’t work half the time?
Me and my friends switched over to whatsapp web, but I hear whatsapp is not that popular in the US.
I don’t know of a good reason to use any native client for Hangouts/Gtalk, when Pidgin handles it fine. Well, other than using it in gmail because it’s also very accessible there.
TBH, we’ve had fewer issues with Hangouts than with Skype, my other major means of IMing collaborators. But all my buddies use Skype out of habit at this point: Phil’s the only one who sticks to ol’ GTalk.
And so Syr’Nj realized her true calling as a meadiator.
That’s an wonderful exchange. I am glad it was saved for posterity.
I’m wondering, now, if anyone ever speculated Frigg was trans – or, once the background was revealed, that her player was a dude – based on comments like this.
As I recall, someone thought Frigg was an androgynous man really early on, but I don’t remember any speculation on her identity.
