Is being prepositioned a thing? I’ve heard of being propositioned, but never prepositioned.
Not like I was born yesterday, but this one was just gravid with suspense.
Love the pregnant pause in panel 3.
Odds are that that panel was seeded by the alt text.
I wondered when this question was going to drop.
Looks like we’ll just have to let that idea gestate a while.
Well, if the answer to the second question isn’t going to bake in the oven any time soon, we’ll just have to settle with putting it on the back burner…for now.
Would their children be axe-wielding tree-huggers?
On a side note, does Byron mean “propositioned” instead of “prepositioned”? Maybe I’m wrong, but the only definition I have for prEpositioned is “to place before or in advance”, whilst “prOpositioned” means to suggest sexual intercourse or to make an offer/proposal.
Prepositioned … works, I guess. As horny as Frigg is, I would imagine that a willing suitor would see her position herself (missionary, etc.) pre-activity pretty dang quickly.
Was thinking maybe someone tried to correct The Frigg’s grammar
And here I was hoping to see a “real” interracial instead of just two differently colored humans.
Syr’nj and Auraugu haven’t shown themselves to be getting on remotely well, at any rate…
Despite how much effort he put into chasing after her and facing down what is likely the closest thing to a replacement father to her.
This led to the infamous landshark / avian affair… resulting in the fearsome aviarks!
Hmmm…aviarks might be too easily mispronounced & be mistaken for aardvarks. But it might still be reasonable to call them odd-varks.
Shavians.
Be a damn close shave when a litter of those flying sharks swoops by I’ll tellyouwhat!
You have been around long enough to know that Syringe isn’t even the same species (and on this planet, there is only one human race)
I don’t think you understood what I meant but nwm.
Sort of like 90% or so of the “alien” species in the galaxy, eh Captain?
erm, isn’t the word propositioned? Unless of course the preposition is ‘In’, ‘with’, ‘on’ or ‘atop’…
In retrospect, I kind of enjoy the idea that Byron is mispronouncing it. But you’re right, that is the proper spelling.
Presto change-o.
also, I don’t see the link for questions…
Immediately below the comic. The banner that reads “ASK AN ADVENTURER” in big bold letters.
Huh, I sent a question in months ago (that wasn’t a repeat), and haven’t seen it answered as of yet. If you folks are hurting for ideas, might want to check the mailbag again.
Same here.
They probably have quite a few questions to answer. Sending it in isn’t anywhere near a guarantee it will be answered.
Sometimes, also, we get questions where the answer is something we intend to do in the main story already so we don’t do it for this segment.
Well, E-Merl came from somewhere, so I don’t see why they couldn’t, unless the different flavors of elves are very different from one another…
Very possible. Wood elves can, after all, absorb water through their toes, among other quirks.
Ah, the new fetishes that could be created…
Valid point. This world DOES have half-elves, but wood elves are partly plants; “23% wood” as the stand-up comedian claimed (though if that’s a fact of just part of his self-racist humor is unclear). That might be enough genetic difference to make cross-procreation impossible.
In the real world, it would take so much less. A chimpanzee is 99% genetically similar to a human, but you couldn’t breed with one any more than you could impregnate a pumpkin.
Wait, E-Gurl is a half Elf? Thought he was a full Elf (not sure what kind, just full, like that unwanted bard)
Even if he’s not a full elf, he’s demonstrated that he’s full of compost…
You mean Best, who is also not a full-blooded elf?
E-Merl is half elf, half human. So it’s very possible for them to have kids, tho E-Merl is half sky elf, but im sure it works for wood elves too.
