I dunno, J-L. I’ve tried the “passionate arguing leads to UNBRIDLED PASSION” approach. Instead of between the sheets, I always ended up on the couch. Or in Casa de Perro.

If they were Klingons, this would be foreplay. If they were Klingons punching each other, that would be sex.

Hmm, we haven’t seen a lot of female orcs before. The Wilma Flintstone ensemble they have going on fits nicely.

Some of the other “savage races” don’t really seem particularly savage, but the orcs and the land sharks certainly have a very feral, untamed aesthetic.

Penk’s strike-out is a troll, not an orc. And I think the one LockeZ is referring to is actually a gnoll.

Oh, I dunno. It depends on how intelligent and/or dedicated said troll can be. I remember one religious troll called Danktolker in the Kongregate chatrooms. We called him the Troll King because he never dropped his act.

Ever. In the 5 years that I was on that site.

And god forbid you get two intelligent trolls that decide to work together.

Okay, one more post. What is happening above is AWESOME! I secretly hoped that this could happen, but I thought the chance was so small that I put no faith in it. It warms my heart, and makes me say “hurrah!” for the future of Arkerra, and even humanity itself!
And of course, I’m referring to the half-gallon size beer mugs that seem to be the new standard here.

I agree! I love interludes that detail and showcase scenes like this, and it’s just a bonus that it happens to be between two warring sides in this case.
It helps to make everyone seem so much more relate-able, even characters I didn’t think I had anything in common with before. It makes me care about them a lot more.
Which means I’ll just have to bawl my eyes out that much harder when any of them dies, but that’s good writing for you.

64 oz (half gallon) insulated mugs are available on Amazon and eBay. But, before you buy one of those, check out the 100 oz insulated mugs that are also available.

I’ve also bought a couple of the 100 oz mugs at Pineapple Willy’s in Panama City Beach, Florida. About $20, I think.

Ironically, if any of them cause problems with this, I think it will be Gravedust. The idiotic armored brute, the other idiotic armored brute, and the visitor with zero understanding of the situation are all potential problems, but they’re problems that people would more easily overlook, I think. When the revelry is broken, it’ll be because the wise old sage tells a story.

Whether the dwarven champion who used to look up to him is dealing well with his choosing to be an enemy to her people might be an issue as well.

My vote on who causes the problem would be if any of them spills the beans to the Avian champion as to how his mate was treated.

And he got a shocking amount of depth for being specifically written as a meathead meatshield. He’s no Scipio Level Warrior Poet, he’s just a really good guy. Dumb as a sack of hammers, with terrifyingly solid intuition. (How do you render that in stats anyway? Wis? Spirit?)

No Con? Agi and Dex are merged in a lot of systems, but there’s usually some form of Toughness stat.
Personally, I’d give him STR 15 DEX 11 CON 16 INT 6 WIS 14 CHA 12. Boy needs to buy up his Strength to get that tasty 3rd point of bonus.

With that in mind, can anyone remind me of the name of the leader of those sympathizers, who was killed in front of Sundar? I keep wanting to say Mother bear or something like that.
(Was it even Sundar who I’m thinking of that was there or am I getting characters mixed up again?)

I’m mostly only bringing it up because I’m curious if Sundar were to mention this woman to any of his new troll/orc friends if one might also remember this woman.

It wasn’t really the Savage Races, though. It was the orcs she was fighting for, and they’re not really part of the World’s Rebellion, the troll/goblin/dwarf/avian/landshark alliance. The orcs are slave labor, which is the same use that the humans were going to put them to.
