Bugger that. They’re all £2.99 … or $2.99 if you prefer things in dollars (and assume a 1:1 conversion rate).
Really now… is there an international word shortage that requires all expressions be described exclusively as “priceless” EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN TIME?! Or do most webcomic commenters come off a production line, identically formed in every way to perpetuate an absolute, unchanging standard across the Internet?
At this rate by the time I actually become well-known, it’ll be “that guy who complains about priceless expression comments”.
Dude, I’ve seen your comments on several different comics and all you EVER do is complain, bitch about how life sucks, or advocate violence and death. Sometimes you make a good point, but your general jerkishness really doesn’t help sell it.
See it from my perspective here… okay, maybe you can’t. I don’t meet many who can…
I fix problems. To fix problems I have to find problems. I’m conditioned to do so. I’m PAID to do so (though not here, o’course). Thing is, even when I’m in no position to fix anything, I’m still finding the problems. It is as natural and unavoidable to me as breathing.
I see the good stuff too… but that doesn’t need my attention. Never does. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Y’know? My highest form of praise is not to say anything at all.
My “complaining”, as I see it, is the first step towards making everything better. It highlights where things are in need of improvement. And if I were in any position to fix them myself, I would just fix them (wiki wars have started that way, of course).
Every time someone says something stupid. Problem.
Every time someone says something trite or clichéd. Problem.
Every time someone says something that is just plain wrong. Problem.
AND most of all… every time someone lies or grossly exaggerates with intent to manipulate the impression given. Severe Problem.
And the problems will gnaw at me and bother me until I at least highlight them.
… and if nobody wants to hear it, then that is ALSO a problem that needs highlighting. If issues aren’t addressed then they only get worse.
Stupid and wrong are probably just going to be based on your negatively slanted opinion. And that’s fine as far as it goes.
Clichéd can be a problem. Though sometimes things people worry about being “clichéd” are actually just the creator tapping into an established language/imagery/etc… in that genre(s) in order to quickly communicate certain well known concepts in the space/time provided. Especially here at the beginning of a project where things and characters are being established for the first time. (nothing is all that original depending on how long you live anyway… rarer arrangements of and relationships between known concepts and doing the known well is about all you can hope for most days unless you are… new)
If you ALWAYS (100%) phrase things as negatively as you can and never let people know you can see the whole picture by *gasp* actually mentioning a positive now and then it is human nature to eventually either turn on you or tune you out. Not only because they came here for entertainment (not depression) fun after dealing with problems at their work all day but also because such entirely negative statements have the form of a troll as we have gotten used to seeing them and no intelligent discourse can be had with someone just trying to stir up trouble. (the best trolls throw in some positive to camo themselves but we’ll leave that for now) The fact that you either can not see the flaws in your communication, don’t care or are unable to take a path that will help others see your points is a PROBLEM. ;)
Hm Elf Artificer, dwarf arcane archer, human barbarian/fighter maybe? (Byron), human fighter or paladin? (Frigg, yes unlikely) and halfling rogue or pint sized rogue?
I wonder what system would have been used if this was an actual game?
Well, it would be nice if the guy (Locke) who commented with a massive spoiler on the first page is held accountable by having his comment deleted. Even if he lied that was uneccessary

The facial expressions are priceless, particularly the elf

No, it will simply be “that guy who complains”. The web would be a far better place without obsessive nitpickers like you.
I take it you’re one of those sorts who believe that suddenly nothing will be wrong any more if we stop acknowledging problems. ¬_¬
Anyhow. It ain’t like you really know what the web would be like without me… because the web has never been without me.

how do you delete comments?

I give up
You don’t. Behold the power of accountability.

I sympathize, I suppose. But since his “spoiler” is a joke that isn’t even close to true, and it makes me laugh as well, I will let it stay.
Well, that is the best of the two possibilities.
What measures the best adventurer… is his or hers skille in running away and be able to adventure another day!
