What low spirits! Bandit is obviously at a low point in her life. Nobody wants to see you sink to this level Bandit! Hopefully you can hit rock bottom soon if you have to keep going downward and then come back into the light.

I do love when the comic gets all deep with it’s characters like this.

Eh puns get you little recognition round here typically, because we’re so dense with em. Punytive actions weren’t really required for punning too much. As long as they stick to a smaller amount of puns per post they should be fine.

I keep looking for some bleedover from one world to the other, but Kingdoms of Arkerra persists in its internal consistency. I expected some cracks to appear with the introduction of the B Team, but so far, they seem to act and think as if they are as fully enmeshed into this world as the originnal characters.

At this point, I suppose I’ll just let the next twist really surprise me.

Was the title text supposed to read “negative Z-axis,” or are we assuming a nonstandard orientation for coordinates?

    • Seth
      Seth
      December 12, 2011, 5:53 pm | # | Reply

In film (the fancy movies), the z-axis is considered to be front to back, and the x- and y-axes maintain their Cartesian orientation. Geometrically, your interpretation would be right, but since this is written and drawn by artistic types, I assume they’d use the more artistic interpretation. The preceding is what happens when you major in media production and in math.

Thank you. Gnome has always been my favorite fantasy race, I have always related to them best. It was always my great dismay that Gnomeregan was a dungeon and not a city. And when they finally delivered on the ancient promise of “taking it back,” nothing of the sort was involved. You and High Tinker Mekkatorque go fight a spiderbot tank with some guy in it on a hill and Mekkatorque assures you that the victory has some truly symbolic significance in the ongoing war against Thermaplugg:

Some guy in a robot armor suit that is topplable by the level 30 range. Unconquerable, a challenge completely unable to be arsed into change, and yet we have motherfuckers running around dethroning Lich Kings.

A little consistency is all we’re asking for. That, and for the Gnomes to have some fucking dignity for like five fucking seconds. Is that too much to ask, Blizz?
