Last time this guy showed up, working the fields with Syr’nj, he seemed so decent. Like he was actually a good person, not necessarily trying to change things for the better, but at least a half-decent guy who was USUALLY only a dick because politics forced him to be. He’s the only human in the court who’s shown any direct support for the non-human Gastonian allies beyond what was strictly required of him.

I HAD HOPE FOR THE FUTURE! And now my faith in humanity is once again crushed.

Actually, maybe that’s prejudiced of me. There were some random stabbings and other tomfoolery going on out there, but there’s no firm indication that these cultists are bad dudes to work with. Maybe the doomsday cult will join the good guys.

There’s probably a spawn point that activities just past the sign in table, so getting ganked is no big deal.

The cultists presumably all know they’re in a videogame, and most of them are probably decent people in real life. If they learn that they’re being used to trash the game, a lot of them will probably switch sides. Of course, they probably think they’re unlocking an apocalyptic game event that’ll change the map of Arkerra, and unlock loads of new, post apocalyptic quests. If they do switch sides, it probably won’t be any time soon.

I’ve always wondered about what happened the cultist fortune-teller that Byron and Syr’nj met. I’ve always hoped we’d see him again and get more explanation about his deal. Right up until Byron discovers who he is the guy seems to have extremely accurate foresight into their future.

I want this guy to be him, but he’s not speaking in rhyme enough.

There were orcs in this comic and I believe it was the fist appearance of trolls as well (not Harky though). The orcs were being led as slaves in chains and we never saw any since then. Guess they were taken out in one of the subsequent patches.
