You have no honour, like a woman.

The flail-bots remind me of that training machine from Dune.

Crippled man scoots to the side, out of danger.
Non-crippled girl keeps on the path the robot’s on, then stops and screams.
Fr’Nj just lost all of her fighter cred.

You still don’t run away in a straight line, specially along a semi-flat surface like a road or path

You sure? The machine’s never gonna get tired unless it runs out of “juice” or something. Running in a straight line at least maximizes your “energy invested to distance travelled” ratio. Zig-zagging only allows the pwn-bot to catch you sooner.

No, you dodge to the side, or at least run off the nice smooth level(ish) path

I always found it strange how some wild animals like rabbits seem to need about half a minute’s running in front of a car before realizing that just getting out of the way is a perfectly viable option. Its worse when they start out in the middle of the road, like they get stuck in some sort of equilibrium (farthest point from car is straight ahead). So naturally I don’t blame Fr’Nj, what with all the company time she spends around small animals ‘n such

Bullshit if that argument were true then no one would ever stop being racist. Plenty of people while surrounded by racist assholes have gone “wait this is wrong” with no one providing evidence that treating people that way is wrong.

As a druid, one has to look past the immediate concerns involving the robo-warriors and look to the root of the problem. This is something that needs to be nipped in the bud.

Considering every character’s thought bubble’s are color coded, and those match Bert’s I’d have to say your dead on. Not to mention, if he’s an adventurer, the racist comment might have just been part of the intimidation attempt. Like saying “I don’t care whether you live or die” whether or not he actually does care.

The thing is called Speciesism… how the perpetrators would be named I can’t say.
cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciesism although it’s quite a different thing for Arkerra, where different species have higher-order-consciousness.
