You could probably print it on a dollar bill, though…

Also, one ‘L’ in ‘field marshal’.

And technically Ardaic isn’t face palming. It’s that pressure hold to keep you from busting a vein when someone does something mind numbing stupid.

…I’m sure there needs to be an official technical term for that…

“Fingering the bridge of his nose” is a common expression for that. Not nearly as common as facepalming, of course.

You know, I sort of imagine that with all the things that could go wrong eventually some of the adventurers/soldiers would turn to “normal” jobs, and as such become guardsmen, blacksmiths, herbalists, etc. Let us be honest, anybody who will open a Blacksmith shop or become a healer first will have a monopoly.

That is, if they do understand the meaning of the word “Monopoly” well enough to try and exercise it.

Some of the stuffed animals in the room seem semi-human. The bear on the previous page is obviously a werebear and the moose has a humanoid face, especially the eyes. The snarling bird is probably an Avian.

It could fit, if you encircled the coin with the quote, or just stared menacingly at the coin until it made room. Fightopians will likely prefer the latter.

A band of soldiers ? What does admiral Annunziata mean ? They can’t be soldiers : if they left Gastonian Armed Forces, they’re renegades, mercenaries or traitors. Former Gastonian service members, at maximum.

Besides, why Syr’nj finds it hard to imagine Ardaic sanctionning Gastonian on Gastonian violence ? *scratch*

Soldiers are soldiers. Just because they defect doesn’t suddenly make them not soldiers, especially if they’re continuing to fight for some other banner.

On the second point, Ardaic is a patriot and decidedly Lawful in alignment. The civil disorder of Gastonians fighting each other would be unacceptable to him.

The ideal of Outer Haven has always been fairly noble, in my opinion, but Big Boss kept going about it the most violent and abrasive way possible. Though, it was all a ruse to try and stop the Patriots, anyway, so the feasibility of Outer Haven is moot.
