I’m glad Ardaic continues to not be a jerk, but I’m sort of hoping Syr’Nj asks him to keep going. Delightfully awkward and terrible jokes make me sympathise with Embraisch’Nj.
Well, I guess that he being at his jerkest (Best?) actually helps… if this actually backfires against Admiral Asscap. Everything’s going on just as keikaku in the Great Scheme of Things.
Worst case scenario, the “magic wand” (Greiya’s arm, I think) that makes her go full Byron is still around so she can show him how much wood she can take, right?
So much for turning it around on the humans. At least he knows that he went in the wrong direction, but it’s the willow the joke. You can’t just cut it short without it getting all awkward.
So despite being a guildmaster Byron doesn’t get a seat on the council. (Granted this could have been said last page). I suppose that makes sense. I’m sure there are more than two guilds in Gastonia, I’m just not sure why the mining guild gets special privileges here.
simple – raw resource collection almost always occupies a higher position than average. esp when your work directly relates to how many swords can be smithed, and that number in turn determines whether your nation ceases to exist.

“Great Greiya’s Grace, what I am doing…”

Wait a tick… his… Best?
His… Payet Best?
Dun-dun-DUN!
THAT’S THE JOKE
Look at Annunziata yucking it up…If any of the other heads liked him, before this…
you can see everyone else glaring angrily in the background too…
Ooh. Looks like Embraisch’Nj’s routine has branched out in the wrong direction.
She’s not gonna give him any lumber support
Yup, he’s rootin’ around in the wrong soil.
I swear Denita’s reply wasn’t there a moment ago… looks like the pun that was the apple of my eye didn’t fall nearly far enough from the tree.
Please don’t bark at me.
He just needs more people to root for him.
I don’t know why they’re throwing him out, he seems like a real fun guy.
Most seems to think it’s about time he take his leaf.
Well I still like him. He’d be a better frond than anemone.
He’s really sapping the place up.
I love his expressions. “Thank Graiya you’re stopping me!”
Whoops, meant to have this at the end.
C-C-COMBO BREAKER
I’m switching to Black Orchid then, time to weed ’em and reap.
I don’t see why anyone likes him. I think he’s a son of a birch.
Well, some might say we’re making mulch ado about nothing.
Mmm-hmm. It’s time that he takes his bough and leaves.
He still manages to be funnier than this thread.
Needless to say, I ain’t lichen it.
How much wood would a wood elf chuck, if a wood elf…
Oh, and does he risk splinters when they bump uglies?
So much for turning it around on the humans. At least he knows that he went in the wrong direction, but it’s the willow the joke. You can’t just cut it short without it getting all awkward.
The only thing worse than a weedy joke is an improperly pruned one.
Oooooooh he’s going down in flames, folks!! PULL UP!! PULL UP!!
His reputation is going to get a little tar-nished.
he makes his living on shitting on his race’s reputation, let alone his own. nothing lost.
Don’t worry, it’s not like he’s made of wood.
Oh wai-
That’s what happens when your mouth is faster than your brain. Or at least in a higher priority.
Timber!
Hey look! The admiral has one of those flying inkwells, just like Caneghem!
Flying Inkwells were all the rage last season, only the most well-to-do and hip of council members were able to get them.
appropriate avatar is appropriate.
Archaic is not amused.
and THEN he was executed
Say, what’s this floating in the punch bowl?
Wooden’t it have been better if he started with the humans? Or at least leave’t to continue on to them?

“Be the oak” – I’m sure it would sound simply odd if that reminded one of a bit of old Buddhist writing. Cheers.
