She’s got a point. It’s stupid of them to look down on Gravedust when the Mystics are the ones who sent him back and told him to bring his buddies back in the first place.

Forgot who the knocked-the-fuck-out dude was. Ha.

It’s the hybrid E-Merl/Best/Scipio that we saw in the beginning of this, Frigg’s sex(?) dream.

We’ll, she finished her tantrum cleansing her rage against comfortable imagined punching bag, and now she’s ready to resolve her issue and stop defining herself by the world and define herself by herself. Sartre and Freud would’ve been proud.

They don’t think Gravy has a ghost of a chance of becoming a fellow ghost. Hmph.

I guess they’re removed enough from this plane that they also no longer have any sense of /Politeness/. Rocks-for-cocks, the whole lot of em. D:<

Frigg just told Gravy it’s stupid “forgetting your own awesomeness because few idiots rejected you.” That was the Wolfs point, she just didn’t realize it until panel 4.

What are you talking about? That was obviously not Frigg coming to a sudden realization and thinly veiling a comment about her frustration over her sex life in the guise of reassurance for Gravedust. Geeze, man, sometimes a crazy mystical rift in space is just a crazy mystical rift in space!

My best friend did a sculpture of one for his art class (has to do with the historical fear of women and their “witchy powers” kind of thing). It was decidedly creepy, yet somehow beautiful.

Yes, he is still my friend.

Clearly you’ve never met Hine-nui-te-po. Hers is full of obsidian.

Somebody seems to have edited that off of one or two of Maui’s Wikipedia pages since I saw Moana. I’m pretty sure that’s where I learned how Maui died.

Frigg is brash, emotional and tactless almost all the time…

… but when she speaks truth and wisdom, she’ll really make you shut up just by the depth of her words.

I *thought* Frigg was paying more attention to this conversation than she let on. Good to see she’s got Gravy’s back. Also good to see Gravy smile.

    So, ok, serious question.

Does Cliff Rockslide hunt down lingering spirits that require justice, let them possess his hammer, and then whack people with it to release their frustration?

Because that is a WAY better method than a bow and arrows.

I definitely don’t see Cliff as H.R. Especially with that sort of zen-like expression on his face. It seems to say that he neither confirms nor denies the truth of Frigg’s words. Nor is he offended by what she is saying. He may very well even agree with her, but his thoughts and her comments are irrelevant as far as these mystics are concerned.

As for the downturned mouth, I believe it’s the the angle of the “shot.”

Sigh, yes. I do answer jokes seriously. I always find validity in them and answer to that even when I think the joke is funny. Sorry.
