      That third one is quite esoteric, given the spelling is usually limited to journalism settings.

      How I hate that spelling! There’s no need for industry-specific jargon!

        Even in the couple journalism classes I took, the professors spelled it “lead”. When asked why it was different in the textbook, the response was along the lines of “Yeah, it’s kinda pointless to get that specialized.”
