Well, looking at it conceptually, Arkerra is a game, and the beast is – effectively – a virus. Magick Knight Guy is going to be either a piece of anti-virus software that, in the ‘game world’, is effectively treated as sentient (and, computerwise, would right now be utilizing Sundar’s tracking data to help analyze the effects of the virus), or else is going to be a superuser – whose suite of programs and abilities is, of course, also going to be treated as being dissimilar to the game world flavor, therefore CyberKnight.
Small prediction (apologies if this has been made before): WAV will be the key to throwing off the cultist fortune-teller’s plan, as he can’t be detected by scrying.
Hmm. I know this is looking into it too deeply, but in a land of humanoid (and not so humanoid) creatures, how would Sundar even have an idea of what an alien is? Up till this point there’ve been no references to aliens by anyone, at anytime, anywhere.

I still haven’t read far enough to see absolute confirmation of WAV’s identity… but I assumed it was Best’s Alt from the very beginning since I’ve been assuming every new character was “Best’s Alt” since Best himself vanished.
