I suppose that an answering machine is a little more encouraging than getting a busy signal…After all, the deities might be getting swamped with prayers & requests right now, what with all of this death having been spread around recently & their switchboard might have been too overloaded for Gravey’s question.
So far we have seen nothing to indicate that straight up resurrection is a normal game mechanic. Maybe it is one of those games that MOSTLY replaces death with a downed condition where you can be healed or teleport back to base. (be an odd game that still had death in those circumstances but then the 5 have an odd effect on the game and also H.R. really wants them to die so maybe messed with the game mechanics a bit)
Huh. You know, what if this is actually the result of HR managing to do what he set out to do, and ‘wake up’ the tube people? What if Byron’s meatsack is now laying asleep in a hospital after rigorous checks to his physiology and psychology, and he’s been given a clean bill of health?
Weeeell, I doubt it’ll be all that shiny-happy, but if he stays dead in Arkerra (which he totally should), it’s a safe bet that he’ll feature in the next Sepiaworld chapter.
I doubt that. Even if he did awake in the sepia world, H.R. isn’t likely to rush Byron to the hospital. He probably won’t want to have to answer a bunch of questions about what happened Byron.
So, the big one-eyed beast and the little beserker beasts; they both come from Cyberia, right? Since Rachel’s character was deleted when killed by one, then shouldn’t Byron’s be as well?
I guess that’s what we’re all waiting to see; if HR’s plan to delete the character will keep Byron from living again of if that same glitch that Gravy keeps exploiting will bring him back again…
The difference is that Rachel was killed AND deleted by the beast, as you said. Her body (and soul/data) disappeared. Byron’s body is still there and the last time he came back after dieing in the berserker state also.
Though I do think this would not work as last time.
The persons putting the bodies on the right had all the bodies face the same way while the people placing the bodies on the left are flipping the direction the body faces each time. Going every other in the design. Gravedust needs to rectify this ASAP.

This game also has about x10 the healing craft than most games. Characters actually suffer and die on a bed, that’s pretty time consuming.
