Seriously. I feel like all the Lords in the room are internally smacking their heads against a wall yelling “NO SHIT SHERLOCK.” Syr’Nj is many things, including cunning, but a politician she is not. When riled up she’s about as subtle as a brick. Of course they’re a pack of wolves, they’re career politicians!
No, I think something else is going on. They knew she’s got a stronger will than Reynolds or Persson, so it seems unlikely that if they didn’t want her around, they wouldn’t have had a better plan than letting her walk in and make a mess of things. I think they’re planning to get her to support their plan, whatever it is.
Honestly with their matching goatees it took me a little while to figure out how Miyomoto dropped 50 lbs between pages, and why him talking was a big deal.
Wow… this gets more thrilling by the minute. It usually isn’t in one’s best interest to call out the evil conspirators of the hegemony while they are all gathered together in the same room than you… and then they call off all potential witnesses. Truly worrisome! Or perhaps something else is afoot… hmm… can hardly wait for what happens next!
Man, Syr’nj ought to know better; calling out the bad guys openly is a one way ticket to the afterlife in any medium. But in a way, it’s nice to see her passions still boil over once in a while.
Just occurred to me. Ardaic’s being sent out because he is clearly, if subtly, partial to Syr’nj. Therefore he would no longer be speaking for Jarvis. Therefore, Jarvis must speak for himself this next bit.

I’m confused, what’s the relation to the comic?
No idea, since Jarvis obviously cannot sing.
He can talk. That’s it. :)
He can talk?
But he can’t SIIIIIING!
Ah, I get it now.
I, too, was perplexed, but never upset to see a Simpsons clip.
Took me a minute to figure out this one, but the faces in Panel 6 finally gave me the hint. That was subtle, Jean-Luc.
I was going to post the same clip Jean-Luc did, and I’m shocked so many didn’t see the connection.
Alternative interpretation: Ardaic’s been made a monkey of!
Syr’Nj’s allies cleared out of the way…it’s pink slip time for Syr’Nj. (Pink parchment?)
I more worried about a Julius Caesar like retirement party…
et tu brute?
that’s what I was thinking, too
That might actually be the best case scenario, because I’m pretty sure Syr’nj could take all of them.
Ruh roh. Syr’Nj done messed up now.

welp. things are about to get down.
HE TALKS!

Jarvis gunna be layin down some LAW.
Watch, he’s gonna take off his glasses, and we’re gonna see berzerker-eyes or HR’s eyes.
I’m more looking forward to the moustache-smile going down.
I have a feeling that a ‘You can join us’ ultimatum is inbound.
That’s what I’m expecting, too.
Yes. They’ve got something to offer her — something they don’t want Ardaic to know about.
“Inolvement” typo :P
Et tu Brutus?
“Ms. Syr’nj… Please check yourself… Before you wreck yourself.”
“What”
“That is all, meeting concluded.”
A system of checks and balances is necessary for any stable political system, or at least this one
Grand Marshal Jarvis was just told to go sit at the kiddie table while the adults talk, that’s gotta hurt.
Jarvis told Ardaic. It was super effective.
Looks like Ardaic and Kur’ik are more surprised Jarvis speaks, than Ardaic being banished from the room.
Technically the two are entwined. Normally Ardaic basically speaks for Jarvis, so this is essentially Jarvis saying “Ardaic, I got this, you can go.”
Wow… this gets more thrilling by the minute. I like to imagine that Jarvis’ voice is all squeaky and high-pitched.
I just kinda transpose Filius Flitwick over him and run with it.
Wait, wrong person. I was thinking of Bedard.
Maybe he thpeakth with a thlight lithp? Jutht a thmall one, hardly notithable anymore, but a thourthe of embarrathment thinthe he wath a thmall boy?
“and so, we shall go to war!”
Heads of House: “WELL. That was… righteous. Ardiac, please go out into the hall while we stab- I mean, correct her adorably naive mindset.”
You mean “while we all get stuck full of needles by the special-forces veteran?”
It isn’t just that Jarvis talked, but that he asked the guy that normally talks for him to leave the room. Thus implying that he will do more talking.
Man, Syr’nj ought to know better; calling out the bad guys openly is a one way ticket to the afterlife in any medium. But in a way, it’s nice to see her passions still boil over once in a while.
Except she could easily kill every one in the room by herself.
Well….maybe not Caneghem. Not exactly sure how powerful he is, but he is an Archmage among a nation that has more magic than any other resource.
I don’t know why but now I imagine Jarvis’s voice to be super raspy and whispery.
It’s this:
The thermantidote. It has been struck with excrement most dire. And pungent.

First rule of wolf club : We don’t talk about wolf club.
