Ah, at last we know what’s become of HR. “Brother Daedelus,” the “boss,” huh? It’ll be interesting to see what powers he has now he’s inside the world of which he aspires to be god.
Or will he just be like “debiggified” Lisa in that Treehouse of Horror segment, reduced to saying, “Shouldn’t you people be grovelling? And bring me some shoes.”
I don’t think this is HR. At least not directly. HR was able to introduce cloned proxies of himself into this world even before taking on the mantle of a god. I’m sure he can still do it now.
Tom was an old school villain who knew that some heroes had to remain to thwart him later on. And, of course, hurting them but leaving them alive “makes it personal” and more engaging. Villainy is really more about quality drama than world domination, something kids today just don’t understand.
Yeah, that was my first thought. That ragedemon (as I assume that’s what they’re planning to infect Frigg with) is gonna be in so much trouble when it faces The Wolf.

That is my question also. Is he Ferris’s arm turned humunculus or is this the real JR inna tube innis unnawear. My 2nd question if those two ever meet each other face to face does it cause some kind of destructive pan-dimensional cosmic energy feedback loop? You know like in the movies “Back to the Future” I-III.
This is HR. The avatar, his homonculus, was known as Brother Homon. It vanished into nothing after Brother Tom created the berserker portal, seemingly using the last of its own life energy to keep the portal open as long as possible. It died in Chapter 36, page 14.
This is HR Daedalus himself, who arrived in Arkherra moments after leaving Earth. They have different character tags below the comics.
Right, although I had the impression that Brother Homon was intentionally closing the portal and simultaneously erasing himself from existence. In any case, Chapter 36, Page 14 marked the end of Brother Homon. Thanks for listing the specific page.
Wait a minute, E-merl was totally one of the ones that stopped Brother Tom’s plans. He brought Syr’nj and her cure to the battlefield last time. Granted I’m not sure he would be much use now, but still.

“Daedelus”, huh? Dae-DA-lus, I should think. Typo?
They were going to call him iDaedalus but HR is old-school.
I noticed the odd spelling too. Maybe Ulak is mispronouncing “Dedalus?” I admit that’s a bit of a stretch, though.
‘We’re sorry, but the nick, “Daedalus”, is already taken. Please choose another.’
Even an aspiring god has his limits.
Typo.
I’m so tired.

On second thought, I just took a peek back at when HR became a god (Chapter 39, Page 4). This could very well be him and not a proxy.
Edit: Chapter 38, not Chapter 39.
You are in error. All edits have been banished from this realm.
Edit: Edit = Error: ;-)
Before “he” was tagged as Brother Homon. Now he’s tagged as HR.
Well crap.
Oh shoot.

Yeah, like that.

Sorry, chaps. Frigg’s already claimed by one ragebeast.
If you make her go berserk, you’re just gonna piss it off.
If. Her armor of faith has already thwarted one Cyberian menace.
Yeah, that was my first thought. That ragedemon (as I assume that’s what they’re planning to infect Frigg with) is gonna be in so much trouble when it faces The Wolf.
This. And I’m looking forward to seeing The Wolf/Inner Frigg beat the rage spirit to deletion.
The Gravatar Gods pay very close attention to this comic still…
Weeeell… I don’t know, see Mike Carey’s LUCIFER #54, The Wolf Beneath the Tree, for how well these things turn out.
I agree. I think the rage demon will find that Frigg is claimed by Frigg. And much grief will come to those who think they can tame or control her.
On a related note, can anyone remember what chapter & page Frigg talks with the wolf in her dreams? If so, what was it?
Or it might go the other way.
“Hey Frigg, why aren’t you fightin?”
“I don’t know. I just suddenly feel so much calmer than I usually do…”
Well clearly… you cannot have more than one spirit buff active at one time.

How disappointing. He went to all this trouble to become a god in this world, and instead he’s just a cultist.
Or am I mistaken? Is this HR, or the avatar of himself he sent to help Tom?

He’s both. The homunculus is the body in Arkerra that HR’s mind is occupying. Basically, HR is his own PC (and he lost the underwear).

OK that makes sense.
For now.
Aha. So he’s like Shakespeare’s Henry V, walking amongst his subjects in disguise for a bit to see what’s doing on the ground level.
For Now….
Next issue : Frigg the Friggzerker ?
Clearly the other brothers never learned: You have to catch them all.
I was scrolling through the comments trying to see if anyone had said this yet… And here it was, right at the end.
Wait- Frigg’s from Battleshire too?
No. “The last Battleshirean” doesn’t mean “the previous” here, but “the only one left”.
And that was a reply to Jack above.
Actually thanks for explaining that, it tricked me too.

You know what? WTF is that locky locky thing Ulak is playing with.
Pretty sure it’s one of those Cyberia demon things that came through the portal. Inside a locked container.
Seriously? Nobody’s going to jump on the obvious Pokemon joke? I’m pretty sure brother Tom said you gotta catch ’em all!
Scroll up, Ubuntu4Ever. We already have.
