Also, for your viewing pleasure, the compiled Alt-Texts of the previous comics:
Can one measure a life by the fragments of it that remain?
Can one measure a life by the distance between it and another?
Can one measure a life by the grip it maintains?
Can one measure a life by the trials it endures?
Can one measure a life by its will to live?
Can one measure a life by the lives it has ended?
Can one measure a life by the truth it accepts?
I sure hope Gravedust will finally stand up to these guys and give them a piece of his mind.
I never thought I should say this, but: Gravedust, listen to Frigg!
Wow. This is just fantastic storytelling. I love how the previous Title-Texts (thanks to Amaster for compiling them) were answered. The art ist great, too.
— Byron, stop trying to turn “Byron rage!” into a catchphrase. It’ll never work!
— But I’m not trying to–
— Just go back to saying “HAAAUUUUUUGHH!”. It’s the only thing you’re good at.
— HAAAUUUUUUGHH?
Finally all caught up I started on off reading a while ago and just now have gotten really into it so yay this comic is my second out of like ten I’ve been keeping track of and it is by far the best.
Umm..Byron…you have a little something on your…uh…doesn’t matter.
Unfortunately, now they are all pissed because Gravy stole their bosskill.
AND ninja’d the loot.
“Sorry guys, it’s bind on pickup, I’ll have to take him with me.”
Says You !!!
Didn’t think it would be THAT easy, did you?
For a moment there, ya, he kind of did.
…..Byron will NOT be going all sword happy on the spirits. Or…err…axe happy? -.- Least I hope not.
No more Byron? After that display? RUBBISH!

thx
Can somebody please tell me what alt-text is!? So far I’ve just been nodding and pretending I get it.
The tooltip that should appear when you hover with your mouse over the comic.
If you’re viewing on a mobile device, press and hold the pictures.
Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like on today’s comic.
Thanks, guys!
Strictly speaking, it’s
Can a life be measured by the distance between it and another?
Can a life be measured by the grip it maintains?
Probably an oversight, though.
The inconsistencies bugged me, so I changed it. Oddly enough, it’s the same number of characters each way.
So is the tiny red speck Byron’s living heart, or is it the ‘Zerk?
I’m thinking it’s the the Berzekerbeast, broken down into a more manageable form.
It seems to be located where the cult master stabbed him, the wound through which all those tiny berserker-demons entered him.
SPACE GHOST
Them’s fighting words.
He doesn’t actually have to return to life to help the living. Brick Slipshine has appeared to Frigg as a ghost enough times.
Maybe Byron will become Frigg’s new jedi mentor.
Brick Slipshine?! Is that your name for the Wolf-God?
Sorry, I meant Rocky Slip’n’slide.
“bitch please, I’m gravedust” *ressurects byron*
Yes, but I took a level in necromancy, so it’s aaaalll fiiine.
Damn, wish I was friends with Lifedust instead.
There’s Cradledust, but he only handles babies.
I sure hope Gravedust will finally stand up to these guys and give them a piece of his mind.
I never thought I should say this, but: Gravedust, listen to Frigg!
He’ll get Byron back, but it’ll probably cost him his abilities as a mystic. If anything, he’s going to have to mentor a new mystic in his stead.
Wow. This is just fantastic storytelling. I love how the previous Title-Texts (thanks to Amaster for compiling them) were answered. The art ist great, too.
Hey! You, baldy…. Screw you, he’s coming back!
Hard to resist making a Stan Bush reference.
Gravedust: Is that a demonic duck over there? [scarpers dragging Byron]
Wrong comic.
Is it me, or is the female Mystic’s weapon a road sign? You know, one of those “road ends here; you must go left or right” things? ;-)
It’s probably supposed to be a double-bladed axe, but now that you mention it…
YIELD TO ONCOMING JUSTICE.
Please yield to all passing spirits. No parking between 7a-4p.
Do not stop on spirit tracks.
Bandit’s face when Byron comes back…
Yeah, it will probably look something like that.
BYRON RAGE!!
Oh wait… or not?!
— Byron, stop trying to turn “Byron rage!” into a catchphrase. It’ll never work!

I see either a defiant stand or a noble sacrifice coming for gravedust.
Can I axe you a question then? Why niot?
Umm..Byron…you have a little something on your…uh…doesn’t matter.
Unfortunately, now they are all pissed because Gravy stole their bosskill.

“Sorry guys, it’s bind on pickup, I’ll have to take him with me.”
Life is not determined by one single aspect of it?
I’m pretty sure gangsters have their whole lives and death affected by their “carreer” path alone.
