“We shall have nun of this.”

What god(ess) do these nuns pray to anyway?

…and was that a reference to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?

“Let us perform his will. Let us hate with his hate”?

That’s beautiful writing, there. It creates a depth to this setting that’s rare in any medium, and sets the tone perfectly for… well… wherever this is going. Can’t wait to see!

Hmm…. if this was a game my friends an I were playing…. and the usual barbarian player was playing Frigg….

Well then Frigg’d be a Barb-Druid and have summoned a badger (named Roger!) to eat the sisters by now….

Too bad for Frigg she’s not multi-classed. >.>

Frigg’s really, really similar to how the Crusader class plays. Given she is a Crusader, that’s pretty cool.

2nd panel very much reminds me of Orthodox iconography with its positioning of the hand and fingers, check it out: http://www.orthodoxphotos.com/graphics/icon.jpg
It’s not quite the same thing but I’d say there’s a definite reference here. And let’s not forget “Oh snap!”, there’s like layers of meaning in that panel.

I like how nunchalant the sisters are about all this. :P I love their facial expressions as well.

so… I’m the only one who’s favorite character was major douche payest best eh?

well he kicks so much ass he could probably clear out this dungeon though that would not follow the future we viewed with the sky elves =/. Oh well, I always loved playing bards and battle axe guitar is just so cool.

On another note. Just finally caught up with this comic and so now I can post things. thrilling eh? I love the character development although I feel that gravedust actually deserves a little more time. His abilities really haven’t had a chance to shine in a while but I’m sure we’ll get to see him back at work eventually.

Okay now, this far I swallowed all my annoyance with the “nuns”; but the tooltip of this one really pissed me off. This far I could kind of pretend that they are not a spiteful generalization of catholic nuns, but no more. Not that I’m catholic, but you are going a tad far with this. I don’t go depicting every atheist/buddhist/whateverist total assholes just because some of them were jerks to me. I know you probably don’t care about some of us deluded religious fanatics being butthurt about your witticism; but oh well, I’m still going to let this angry little opinion bird fly free [/obscure TNH reference]
