Well, let’s hope they remember to order enough paper towels to clean up afterwords….

Somehow I just don’t see Gravie as the kind o guy that would ever use the word Pal.

So they’re looking for Muslim Algerians serving as auxiliaries with the French Army, during the Algerian War from 1954 to 1962? Zut alors!

Actually, we’re just looking for Batroc the Leaper.

You sound like you might now him.

Careful! He may have a “brigade” backing him up!
(Although when 3 people became a brigade I’ll never know.)

    *awwwww*.

Dang it. Dang it! I thought this was one comic where I was safe from Heartwarming Attacks. Stupid Gravedust. Stupid Byron. Stupid Actual Character Interaction.

*grumble* And the glowy blue Mystic Light is very well done too, you emotion-affecting jerks.

Clearly, that was a sarcastic comment. And not quite true– ALL faceless goons are about that precise!
Clearly, this atrocity was committed by Faced Goons. Much more upsetting.

Plot armor is impenetrable. Kind of like a ship the size of a planet getting blown up by a ship the size of a VW bug flying into one of it’s six bridges.

Lets see they were killed by someone familiar with wood elf tactics and skilled enough with spells to cover up their tracks to a point.
    Sounds like drow to me!
    So what are Harki?

The added lines on the bodies in this update give them a lot more definition than last update. I approve(not that I expect you to care, but if I’m going to offer constructive criticism, I should comment when something is done to improve what I saw as flawed, whether you did it because I said something or not.).

I love the impression I’m getting that Byron is steadily overturning every stereotype Gravedust held regarding humans, at least in regards to this one human. The peace offering here of calling Byron pal is a nice bit of interpersonal character development.

I just can’t handle Byron’s shoulder-things. I mean, are those AXE HEADS? What possible use could having huge blades sticking up three inches from your head? I have this image of him tripping and accidentally stabbing himself in the face.

I think they are more an upthrust of armor designed to stop the kind of high slashing attack that can give your head and body a bad case of separation anxiety.

a gorget and paludrons are by far the best way to make yourself look big without actually wearing a huge bulk of stuff.

Seriously, space marines look huge because of the pauldrons.

As far as trends in fantasy armor go, those shoulder pads are absolutely subtle and non assuming.

Hmm remember that caption when they first turned up at this village?
Looked like Byron was remembering a similar massacre, makes me wonder if that was why he said it didn’t look like the work of orcs and how planting trees made it look like the wood elves… makes me wonder exactly who actually did that.
