Syr’nj’s happy faces are always so adorable. Which wouldn’t be too remarkable, since happy faces on all the women in the comic seem to be that, but it’s more noticeable on Syr’nj because she’s not that attractive at other times (Personal opinion! Personal opinion! Don’t hurt me!) It’s like the times we see her content or ‘soft’ like this are wonderful little treats.
It’s ok. In fact when you consider that this party has a ratio of 3 female persons to 2 males you’d think the authors would use this quantitative female dominance to present some major boobage. None of the women in this party of 5 are particularly “hot” in the classical sense yet the beauty of each shines through in those special moments and is more character based.
It’s one of those nice twists that are so endemic to this comic and which I love so much. Too much art (not just comics) relies on animy pedo-bait sporting a huge rack. I love tits as much as the next Star Fleet officer but there has to be something more and GA provides it.
Frankly, I think any woman is beautiful when she’s happy. I think that’s what we all yearn for, a happy partner. Or friend, and hope some happy rubs off on us.
I love Syr’nj. That is all.
So would Fire cheating on Wind with Earth be a stormy or a volcanic relationship?
I dunno, but water and earth would be muddy, so I’d pay extra to watch.

Seriously, most of the books I read don’t manage this quality. Of course they have to write a LOT, but still! Quality over quantity.
