Another thing I love about this comic is that there are no retards who type “First!” whenever they’re the first ones to comment on a new strip. It is the online equivalent of standing on a sunny meadow breathing in the fresh Pine forest air.

On topic: Silly Byron, one day you’ll realize that while elven favors may start with an ale they don’t necessarily end with one.

That’s because it’s still a young, relatively obscure comic. If a major blog starts linking here regularly, expect spammers and first-tards by the droves. Droves.

Not necessarily, Iocane. I discovered the comic because a particular page was posted on 4chan’s /tg/. So it’s been posted on the foulest hive of scum and villainy on the entire internet, and it’s still “First”-less, you know you’ve got something special.

4chan has a bad rap that’s really not deserved. Sure, /b/ is the internet’s septic tank. But /tg/ and /po/, not to mention many of the other boards, are pretty much civil and decent places. /tg/’s biggest problem isn’t that it’s filled with FIRSTing morons, it’s that /tg/ hates everything, especially those things /tg/ loves.

But Randonimity’s fourth word was “first”, so maybe it was sneaked in there as a subtle hint that other ‘first-tards’ would get? And the rest of us just sit there with our ale and flower necklace and don’t necessarily understand what claim was just staked?

      Well, it’s a theory! :-D

      You’re a pun-instigator.
That is worse than a firster.

The only things worse than pun-instigators are the folks who go on about the plot thickening and expressions being “priceless”… and the “favorite” people, for whom everything and everyone is their “favorite”.
      And shippers.
There is a special pit reserved in Tartarus for shippers.

Compared to all that, people who comment “first” are completely harmless, and actually provide some of the better posts (not because they’re “good”, but because everyone else is bloody awful).

Syr’nj looks great in panel 3, kind of old in panel 4. Panel 5 has that thing where sometimes the artist emphasizes the female character’s lips and it just doesn’t look right. Frigg and Bandit had that problem. For instance, “hits or gtfo”.

I always thought dragonfire had magical properties that would prevent mundane means from negating it.

Perhaps Byron is hiding the fact that he berserkered the fire away? PLEASE SAY HE BERSERKERED THE FIRE AWAY.

I can understand why Syr is after Byron, he is pretty studly. Gets set on fire, chops people to bits … who wouldn’t? He is that rarest of men, the sensitive berserker.

But I think she’s barking up the wrong tree, har de har … he seems like the type who would want someone a bit less serious than Syr. If they got together, their babies would be more serious than Gravedust. They would create a black hole of srsness.

That being said, I do love Syr to bits as a character. I hope she finds herself a hot wood-elf later in the comic. And I will refrain here from making several jokes about wood.
