2013 Axemas Special – Page 7
Well, we hope you guys enjoyed that! Do take a chance to go back to the beginning and read it straight through, I feel it certainly reads better as a complete experience, though we are sometimes bound to such intravenous update schedules during time of intense scheduling and holidays and WHY DO I HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE TO SHOP FOR and OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO SPEND ALL THE MONEY BEFORE IT ALL GETS TAXED AWAY.
Tomorrow and Friday, we’ll be showing off more of the Guild-itizations that those backers earned a rightful chance to not only get a cameo, but some right proper spotlight on the front page here. Also, again: We are in a desperate bid for time.
Chapter 28 will begin on Monday with the cover page and the Great Avatar Shuffle. Thank you all for being patient with us, I am certain that the impending awesomeness will make up for the break from the story.
It’s not like I saved your grand kids because I care or anything… Stupid!
I understand that reference. :D
Ex….Excuse me! Umm….eheheheh….I……I MADE THESE STOGIES FOR YOU!!!!
(Shoves them into his arms and runs away….)
I do not D: halp?
They are insinuating that he’s a tsundere.
Pff, I’m so indifferent I’m not even gonna bother commenting.
You…you’re a monster!
(there, finally got to use this avatar properly)
Stop the Presses!
Scipio spoke!
Wait – isn’t it supposed to read “Axe an Adventurer…”?
The editor chopped that before publishing.
Cigars or glory ? Not even a choice for Scipio. Even when he could get both.
In Gastonia they say, that the old Scipio’s heart remained exactly the same size that day.
HAHAHAHA! Awesome.
His lungs, however, swelled with joy. And smoke.
And maybe just a little cancer.
Usually not a fan of season fillers, but this was great. Nice job.
This wasn’t a filler, filler implies that it was added because the author/artist ran out of regular updates
Well, this was enjoyable. A real insight into what makes Scipio tick as a person. I like him more and more as we go along.
Anyone else get a flashback to the first Mork & Mindy episode when Morks finds the chicken eggs and tries to ‘set them free’?
Really hoping that that is what the Cigar is going to do as soon as it gets Scorpio away from prying eyes
Clearly he also got a cloak as a gift as well.
Not a gift, and likely the source of disappointment.
DM: “OK, you’ve slain the cultist squad leader.”
Scipio: “Loot?”
DM: “His only possession of any value is a heavy cloak of plain cloth.”
Scipio: *sigh* “Well, loot is loot, I guess.”
Well, he still got a premium box of cigars. If that isn’t a convenient loot for such a small quest, I don’t know what is.
Why so indifferent, Scipio ?
