Annotated 2-22
“Hits or GTFO” was the third and final saying from the early days of Guilded Age to become part of our sticker pack, and I’m proud to say that it was one of mine, because as I said yesterday, Frigg-style dialogue was more in Phil’s wheelhouse (“Cockmongler” here was his addition).
Frigg literally does not know what “a draw” means as a noun. “Draw your weapons,” maybe, or “draw a lolcat in a sexual position,” sure…
Syr’Nj looks more upset by strangers fighting than I’d expect a former combat medic to be, but I suppose there’s a sort of order to war that you don’t find in street brawlers thrashing everyone they can to show how tough they are. At least war’s brutality has a command structure to it and a set of agreed-upon goals. Her question is not rhetorical.
Well it worked cause I very clearly remember it being the line that sold me on the comic.
Mongle. Cockmongle. Cock
mooooooooooooooongle
Mmm.
Mmmm…. *winks*
I love that sticker set…sadly, Hits or GTFO was the only one I found a use for (on my old tablet’s cover)…
Surely, you couldn’t place the first sticker on there too?
This way, when the invitation is taken you know who to give the third one to.
Hah
It seems like Frigg had a tendency to talk about herself in the third person back in the early days of GA.
Personally, you prefer to talk about yourself in the second person. It confuses the hell out of people, but YDGAF.
I do?
Preferring to speak of other people in the first person is so confusing it doesn’t even attach to the right comment…
I can think of about thirty programmers to whom the sysadmins would like to give a “Can We Break It” sticker…
And all of the game testers out there.
