Annotated 48-34
FB: A thief finds a few bolt holes, while a warrior finds a brother in arms.
Shout-out to the original commenter who saw panel 8 as some kind of romance. Guess Hollister and Clair aren’t the only siblings who got accidentally shipped here and there! (At least, I assume most of that sibling-shipping is accidental…)
Also, a subtweet: I don’t mind criticism of the comic or disagreement with me personally, but if you’ve never had a comment published before and you send in a comment that seems designed only to get everyone mad at you…don’t be surprised if I just spamfolder it and save everyone the hassle.
…I dunno, the way they’re looking at each other in panel 8…I can see it. And I thought they were less “blood siblings” and more “orphans raised together by Brunhilde” or possibly “brothers in arms” so I can see people shipping them without thinking it was weird.
Now I want to k ow what that comment was…
It’s the old “Don’t touch this button” effect.
I will have to presume that the door Bandit is standing next to is locked (as she tosses the bomb toward the planted explosives.) Opening that door and just sending that same explosive bag might have been a lot easier to disable the Tank, but rather less dramatic I suppose.
The joke’s on me; I missed what established Clair and Hollister as siblings so I always thought of them as An Item.
Huh. Agreed, I saw the panel and thought ‘romance’ and not ‘brotherly love’. But had also forgotten they were siblings.
