Annotated 48-48

It’s kind of adorable to see Syr’Nj’s player struggle with her anxiety and the way Gravedust’s and Byron’s players talk her through it. Considering where Byron and Syr’Nj’s relationship went, perhaps it’s resonant that his player is the one to finish talking her out of her clothes. In the final frame, she’s clearly more focused on watching the other players strip down than on what she’s doing: you can read into that as well.
Frigg’s player originally said to Gravedust’s, “Now don’t you go turning this into some daddy thing.” But I think her “up for anything” energy contrasts better with Syr’Nj’s player and is better for the flow.
Can’t quite make it out, but does pre-Syr’s tattoo have any significance?
(Also, on a related note, the archive page doesn’t have a direct jump to anything after chapter 45, as I was reminded of when I tried to go back and check if that was brought up on the first run.)
I think it was just another little link between player and adventurer, as Syr’Nj and Fr’Nj are the only tattooed protagonists.
I’d never heard that song before, but it’s catchy. Thanks for introducing me to it!
It’s weird that Hurricane didn’t provide for some kind of changing booths to help this go over more smoothly.
If they think stripping is awkward, wait for the catheters…
HR sure doesn’t get tired of explaining how important Carol was in all of this, sounds a little obsessed, really…
