God, I love the emotional range Fr’Nj gets to display here. Figuring stuff out in panel 2, tuned in to WAV despite his unreadable expressions in 3, broadly smiling (both happy to help and lightly amused) in panel 4, then dimming into sadness in 5 and all the way there in 6.
Fr’Nj has her own feelings to work out about the loss of Rachel. But right now, worrying about Frigg is more important. She couldn’t exactly stop Frigg from drinking or tell her how to mourn, even if their relationship were better. But as long as Frigg doesn’t know Fr’Nj sent her this food, there’s a good chance she’ll eat it.
Also enjoy seeing John improvise some genuinely alien but still sorta familiar dishes (looks like shrimp and breads to the left).
