Bonus Guest Strip – Ahdok
HAWM, Guildies. We have ONE MORE guest comic for you, which is an inaccurate description because it is, in fact, the FIRST guest comic we got. I would blame the fervent hunt for a new artist for letting this slip, but that’s weaksauce.
I alone must carry the burden of this failure.
Anyway, here it is, enjoy the world-class pun that I wish I came up with. Thanks, Ahdok!

I will not splande for this nonsensical humor!
they were only going to splande their money on useless trinkets anyway.
Can some one ‘splande the joke to me?
I thought Robbin’ Hood was s’posed to be the highwayman, only assisted by his Merry Splande.
Well, if he were a splande-up guy, he would give it to the poor. Unfortunately, he probably steals not but lupines!
These are all so good that sometimes I think these guest comics are carefully splande out in advance.
on the contrary, it’s black and white, and shoddily put together because I whipped it up in an hour the moment the guest comics call went out.
(I was away for a while after that, and wanted to contribute something quickly, in case nothing else came in for the next update.)
But I had thought of the pun-chline in advance – specifically when we were making baron splande jokes back at the start of the chapter.
As long as you’re not har-baron a grudge over the loss of the pun and under-splande that a noble becoming a highwayman isn’t a new mo-thief.
Gold Star.
Splande and fight?
Ugh, I fail.
Got it!
“I love it when a splande come together.” :P
It’s okay guys, Baron Splande’s adventures don’t end here. later on, he goes on to make his own opera company!
yep, after he raises enough money for a troupe of performers….exactly as he splande….
it’s what his theatre company is called that’s the punchline :D comeon, someone must be able to figure it out :D
I wouldn’t know what that is, but I foresee a Splande-ing ovation!
Well if you had said “ballet” instead of “opera”, he could have called it “Splande-O Ballet!” You Know this much is true!
The pun in panel two was pretty good as well, I thought.
Y’know, “people he’d looked down on.”
(they’re short)
This gag had a great flight, but not such a good Splande-ing.
Oh god. That was so forced it hurt. I’m sorry, people.
Oh my god. OHMYGOD. That freaking beautiful reference(≧∇≦)
And I can’t believe no one’s explained this to poor Anode. It’s a reference to an old Irish ballad called Whiskey In The Jar; one of the lines in the first verse says “Stand and deliver, for ye are my bold deceiver”.
